they know its happening. they have logs that tell them who is doing it.
yet, here we are.
when i first saw people saying this happened in POE1 i kind of just ignored it. always crazy accusations in any game. now....sure seems like there is something to it.
pretty profitable to make a broken game, then sell digital items for real world money on the side. especially a game where you reset the economy on a regular basis.
its genius
Not even worth to comment anything else lol
Good thing this is EA and will have multiple economy resets.
It's going to be a million times worse upon full release.
Economy reset and new season is irrelevant, these Chinese botters are not stupid, they're some of the biggest nerds on the planet.
They know how the game works and most importantly the economy, supply and demand, these are people doing this for decades. Season reset won't change anything.
beyond that, no one has actual data, so...
none of this is relevant, this is just players unwilling to engage on the level PoE asks for.
Inflation is still like, not even half of what it could reach on PoE1, and no one was complaining lol.
Then, beyond that, if you think RMT is a problem that can solved, you're fairly naive. When there's demand, people will find a way to supply. Therefore, they need to act on players that buy, not the bots. Bots will go away once players stop buying. Do you think that will ever happen on any game that has incentive to RMT ?
Ask the united states what happens when you try too hard to prohibit something in demand. Need to remove the demand. Only so much they can do as long as there's demand.
At the same time, I don't see it nearly as a problem as threads here would suggest, so I feel it's a portmanteau for "I suck at the game, but I want to pretend it's the game, not me".
Also, it's a standard league during beta that won't even persist. Who cares lol.
this a very good point. hundreds of hours in a game is insanity. it just shouldnt require that of you. it just shouldnt. like if you want to play that much over years or whatever, thats one thing. that being in 1 season to see the end game? ya thats, like you said, a job.
i hadnt really thought of it like that before. but that is a very good point
Ask Elon.
Yeah the only reason is litterally posing :P
