I have run maps with 15-20 modifiers, and maps with only a few.
As far as item drops go, sometimes the lower modifier maps drop better items.

It's another RNG feature on what all the modifiers actually do for you.
I think if you calculate the extra time to run the maps with high amount of modifiers and the death penalty, it might be worth it more to run "simpler" maps from a time perspective and even a drop perspective.
yes, its how you improve loot.

Exalt and Vaal all your T15s.

Incorrect.

Incorrect.

That is my own experience. Yours might differ.

Can you afford it? Can you run a map with those modifiers? If you answer positively, you should do it.

Exalts are worth less and less, especially if you try to convert them to Divines. Juicing your maps is good way to use them. If you have nicely set up area on your Atlas with many towers that overlap their precursor bonus effects and many added league machanics, running 6 affix mod maps will grant you lot of loot and potentially currency.

Yes to both, im steamrolling my maps and I have a 70+ exalts in store. Thanks for the tip, that includes everyone in the chat :)
no because if youre playing efficiently, you're vaaling them and that would just brick your exalts.

25% of the time yea, the other 75% of the time they would not get bricked.

don't forget to apply emotions to your good maps over T10 after you exalt and before you vaal
When you are end game you regal em exalted em and vaal em.
You doing yourself no good doing maps not at the best they can be. Thats a bad use of your time

Exalted orbs are decreasing in value steadily

1 Divine Orb costed 80 Exalted 3 weeks ago
1 Divine Orb costs 230 Exalted as of today

Use them

I was taught to augment, transmute, regal, exalt to max, and then corrupt ALL of my T15's for maximum return of investment. It's also how you get T16 maps, by corrupting a fully loaded T15 and getting lucky on the orb upgrading it to a T16.
A white map should always be Alched instead of Regaling. You're wasting 0.5 Exalts per map if you Regal a white map at current prices. Save those Regals for blue maps.

Now, 70+ Exalts is not exactly wealth pool I would say is ripe for spending them on maps.

Try to run few maps with maximum amount of affixes and see how are your returns. If you at least break even, which you absolutely should do bar some extremely bad luck, continue Exalting your maps.

Just to give you my approach, I only use Exalts on my T15s when clearing maps that are stacked with buffs from towers and multiple league mechanics. On the other hand, I corrupt every T15 map I run in attempt to get T16.
