MAPS one shots need to go.
if they plan on keeping the one portal design one shots need to go. the trade economy is so bad getting res capped is now impossible for less then 50 div and then say good bye to damage. why would they gate the best part of the game behind one shots? bosses are the best part but i cant engage with them if they one tap me. why did they give me additional res during the campaign if the are going to take away more then that by end game? im already to make going back and doing early material easier? im lvl90 that's absurd. and the argument against one portal is that loot will have to be tuned back..mmm no it doesn't, doing that would be a weird choice. oh abuse scenarios ok if i killed it out failed a breach then that's gone but everything else i didn't touch is still there. like in campaign.if the boss on a map or in a citadel clapped me then i have 6 trys reset them and let me go again at the check point there. also stuns and FLINCHING are just bs and unfun i had 3 stone charms at one point they dont prevent you from being stunned until you get stunned and you can still be flinched out of casts btw so an an already 60% movement speed monster with 33% move speed bonus is on you in less then a second from the edge of the screen.i still get things cast at me from off screen up and down because i dont want to buy a 400$ ultra widescreen monitor just to see a decent amount of this game when it could change massively in a direction im not ok with. great games are balanced around ultra try hards who no life a game because most of the time the people like that dont have any money and the ones that do are bot farmers who rmt to semi casuals who are willing to risk a ban just to have some fun in a video game. thats why people cheat in fps games allot. the try hards make it super unfun so people who just want to hop on and have a good time can without spend 18+ hours a day grinding be decent. also going all in one ai upscaling is a huge mistake it makes the game look like crap we had this figured out like 10 years ago idk why all new games do this because trying to turn it off tanks the game performance there are a few really core issues with the game that bother me but can be fixed.

TLDR: one shots not fun,1 portal not fun,all "crafting" being gamba means progression is tied to luck and a tanking economic,ai upscaling instead of real proven optimization is an industry wide mistake that needs to stop,the trails of chaos and suckumah are so rng based and time wastie (stand here for 2 mins SO FUN :\ ),the xp pen needs dropped to like 3 or 1 percent the pain in my friends voices when they die in maps and them logging in less and less is not fun,base movement speed shouldn't be affected by gear and needs bumped up a tad if monsters are going to be so fast and swarmy,i know ggg was upset that people where oneshotting the endgame bosses but its one shot or get one shot that is the endgame with one portal,party play scaling is WAYYY off 3 people making the bosses health scale up from 2-5 million to 45-60 million nuts,party play is not fun standing outside a portal waiting from my friends to finish a map isnt fun,i know they said they would cull friendly player effects down i really hope they follow through on that its really bad im basically flash banging them,what purpose does it sure to not let me retry the cid bosses it takes hours to get to one and sometimes they lock me off from a from going a direction on my atlas i have many dead ends on my atlas because of all the water and mountains that mine spawned with so now i have to go back to the start and head another direction for days before i see another one and sometimes i have to spend days back tracking because that direction dead ended(rerolling the atlas should be possible somehow),if your connection is spotty this game is impossible to play the lag is insain they should have something for that my one friend doesnt have fiber yet and they shouldnt exclude him.
this is my first arpg ive ever played and i love it these points of contention for me are really grinding on me and my friends and the amount of times ive been talking about my ideas to have my poe 1 vet friend laugh and say thats what they did in poe 1 bothers me deeply that they made poe 2 so they could undo the things that players wanted it feels like overwatch 2 but this time im not the vet and im very nervous that ggg might get in an arms race with the comunity and ill just have to drop this game and hope monster hunter wilds is everything the demo was. i just want a game me and my friends can all play as a group.

i havent died to a oneshoot a single time after playing through the game, learning the mechanics and then stacking up on defenses before offenses. weird isnt it ?

You have mastered getting level 5, right? Everyone who plays from 90 tells you that you have to go offensive to kill the mob before it can even attack you because of the rng one shot potential.

YES! thats the ultra end game one shot or be one shot. ive been told thats just poe 1

I can gear up any of the 3 classes I am familiar with to do t15 maps for ~1 div
Consider its a build issue

I was running tier 8 maps and barely did anything and realized I could run Tier 15/16 maps with terrible mods and do okay 9/10 times. I still don't have capped resistances. I think they are all sitting around 60, and my evasion seems like it keeps dropping for no reason, but that's at around 60, too. I have just under 3k ehp between hp and es. Clearing T15 and T16 maps is fine and all, but it's meaningless.

At best, you get a couple more levels of decent xp gain before it slows to a crawl. You don't get good rewards unless you can juice and clear the lame mobile game mechanics to get rewards they took from the normal game to make it seem like extra rewards for jumping through hoops.

This is why I only play until I can clear trashy modded maps. That's the end game for me, the rest is just tacked on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. The last 5% of the game will eat up 95% of your total play time. I'm at about 100 and some odd hours on this character, if I got serious about the end game I'd be in it for another 200-400 hours of pure misery. More power to anyone that doesn't even remember what grass is or that doesn't have a job and likes it, but it's certainly not everyone's cup of pee.

Not true at all. I play with my wife and we are both lvl91. We have no issue with juiced T16 as we didn't go meta crap and made our own builds that are balanced. We don't oneshot the map but we don't die to oneshots either.

Oneshots feel "unfair" most of the time because they are often unavoidable or due to a ton of stuff going on - very hard to avoid. For example - i died a lot of times due to being stuck in the map clutter, especially on delirium maps, where you cant see ♥♥♥♥ in the fog and some area attack exploded under me while i tried to figure why the hell i cant roll in any direction. Lot of lag spike death. Res and 10k EHP do not help much, juiced enemies deal too much damage in these scenarios. Still last pach helped by removing some BS mechanics like enemies exploding invisible corpses under you from offscreen.
