Can't See Finn's Items' Stats - Normal?

Hi all. PoE n00b here. Apologies if I'm asking a dumb Q.

I've noticed I can't see the stats of items for sale by Finn. Simply says things like "random bow" and price. The stats are revealed once you purchase. Not the case with the other 2 vendors in the starting area.

Is this normal? Or am I encountering a bug?

Also... whilst I'm here... how can you quickly buy and sell items without dragging from window to window? Double clicking doesn't seem to work.

1. its called gambling, theres couple npcs where you can gamba items, get it twisted
2. control click for quick buy

Finn offers a randomised item. It's a gamble which one you'll get. I've had some good stuff from him but mostly junk.
