It works, but it's still worse than other classes/weapons.
You can easily play physical quarterstaff with a warrior, it's a faster weapon and it works well with the titan spec.
If you want to stay mace, you can also play with totem to get more side attacks. Or play ranged with a crossbow or a bow.
Warrior isn't glued to a 2 handed mace.
If you take a 2 handed that hit slow, and then use perfect strike you will see it charges slower, do to the slower attack speed from the 2 handed.
So you want to get more attack speed, since thats also easier to get then skill speed.
And skill speed would also increase the warriors cast speed of spells.
I put it on perfect strike, and you are able to feel it right away. But the problem with 2 handeds are that there nodes lower your attack speed.
Note: I like to point out, that i also would like to see less winde up time btw. But i see it unlikely that they will do this, since thats how it sounded like in there vod.
