Eldritch Battery + Mind over Matter

So, Eldricht Battery replaces ES with Mana, and Mind over Matter takes all damage from mana instead of life. If I have both, I'd assume I'd get really tanky, but how exactly does EB function? Is ES recharge completely irrelevant and it only looks at maximum ES?

Actually, how does EB interact with other passives, is having 0 ES considered having maximum ES?

Having 0 ES is considered having 0 ES.
You will not benefit from any nodes that say "while at low or high energy shield" because you don't have energy shield.

Energy Shield recharge is completely irrelevant.

Yes you will have a lot of Mana. You can scale Mana more and more from various sources.
Increasing Energy Shield. Or if you have an item that converts Life to Energy Shield, then scaling life will also give you more Mana.

Be careful though. Your only resource becomes Mana.
- Casting spells
- Receiving damage

You can easily forget yourself and die. Also, keep in mind the stun threshold is based on Life. If you don't want to be stunned on every attack, then make sure you invest in increasing your stun threshold.
