I was thinking about picking this up. I haven't played the first one, although I have played Titan Quest but I kind of want something a bit more. I know it's going to be free on full release but I am interested in it now.

Even if all you do is play the campaign on normal mode, its worth the $30 imho.

Lol, well on a serious note the game is very fun and I would highly recommend it.

What do you want from an ARPG? It's generally a very good game with a lot of balance issues.

The $30 you pay for EA gives you 300 points which you're able to spend for QOL purchases in the in-game shop, which is awesome, since you get to play a part of the campaign and decide for yourself if you wanna play it longterm or not. IMO it's well worth the $30. Haven't played POE myself, but enjoying POE2 a few areas at a time at my own pace.

yes get it, just make sure you understand the game does require a lot of time. and imo it starts very slow. I almost gave up cause I hated act 1, I started getting in the groove around middle of act 2 and things started clicking and 300 hours later im hooked.

One thing before I make up my mind, I heard that there was a problem where some people's computers crashed or got bricked or something like that while playing. Was that true, and is it still a thing?

Yes but be prepared for them to take down servers and do resets and what not, its in early access so if you cannot handle early access, I would wait.

It's pretty good. I've been keeping busy since it came out and haven't really played any other game. I'm currently leveling five different chars. It is a bit harder than some ARPGs, and the passives and skills make a BIG difference. What's fun is trying different combinations. The three acts that are in the game now are pretty big.

A lot of these crashes are related to the i9 13900k Intel chip sets. I had the same issue and finally had the CPU replaced with a BIOS update. I haven't had a crash since and it's been several days now. That's my experience. I'm sure there are crashes caused by other factors, but that is a big one.

campaign is mix D2 and elden ring . Endgame is infinite grind . 30 usd for sure

Well, after searching and asking around, I got it installing right now. I got an ARPG itch and I want to hop in and watch it grow. I also got some time too.

i think it is better to wait next big content patch with new economy to start with everyone else, it's ~1 month away
