That fight is downright stupid with the freaking random mechanics. That AOE attack where he hits behind him on 3/4 of the arena makes it impossible if you have minions.

he just suddenly 360 with no animation to hit me, instantly spin, 360 to hit minions, and RESPIN right off to hit me back again. 3 times a row, with 0 chance to dodge out, because if I go away from him, I cant see his animations and cant respond according fast enough.

And it's getting even MORE stupid in the last phase, because if you dodge roll one time, you SLOW DOWN and you are 100% sure to be hit by the blood/frost beam.

this is getting stupidly frustrating.

Bosses who cant be beat unless you PERFECT walked out of EVERY SINGLE mechanics are stupid design. I'm a casual player, not a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hardcore enjoyer.

And thats when boss doest chain 3 times with 0 CD the same AOE that takes more space on the screen than your actual dodge mechanic, which cannot even dodge the dmg done by the move anyway.

Pretty easy boss. Hug him, dodge few weak attack (or just eat them) and keep attacking, hes locked in some animations most of the time. And you could just facetank and nuke him at cruel.

Many people find cruel to be easier than normal. I think it's just cuz they didn't twink their char on normal lol. But yeah, it's usually pretty easy. It's only a one shot for you because clearly you don't have enough defenses. Time to spec into more defense. Thanks for the heads up though. I'm gonna be fighting him tonight on HC, so now I'll make double sure I got enough armor and cold res on my warrior.

cruel is easier than normal because around the end of normal you're getting the next tier of supports/gems/jewelers.

guarantee OP's build is wildly bad, zero frost resist, not jeweled/skilled up, etc.

well, good for you. you are great, you 1 shotted the bosses easily, I'll rise a shrine in your honor. I dont care. if you plan on simply writing down 'get good' just save everyone the time and dont.

I dont enjoy spending 4 hours redoing the same bosses over and over. dieing to different mechanics and the whole 'build' is pretty much straight forward, you cant increase it more. Every build online focus on upping your DPS to kill mobs faster. every youtube guide say the same, and the hexblast build are all the same passive tree.

you have 1000394039 passives nodes to use. but it's a trap. dont use them, dont have fun customizing your build, or the game is impossible.

I was playing minons, it made the boss impossible since he 1 shot every minions and they are my main dmg source. so I spend all my cash to respect into hexblast. I have 1k hp, 1k shield, 1k mana, and I get dmg into my mana before my hp. and I have my hellhound who absorb 20% of my dmg. My hexblast hit for 1800. had to spend hours reading builds to copy what poeple say works. because why should I have fun learning and playing it myself. that's just a stupid hope I have.


I'll simply drop the game before it even reach release. As soon as Civ and Mhwilds are out, I'll never touch poe again, which saddens me.

Diablo 4 didnt had much endgame, which cause me to switch out to POE2 and we were excited about it. But you know what ? I rate d4 above poe2. At least I had fun playing d4 campaign. I'm not having FUN in poe2. it,s a frustration to play and fight boss. running away from mobs constantly. minions cant keep aggro and bosses ignore them and simply 1 shot with every single ability.

Yeah, I dont have much frost resist, I,m at 25%. why ? because that's how loot works, and since no bosses outside of him use ice, I'd have to grind for 10 hours to find good frost resist gear just to trash it as soon as i'm done with it.

I feel this game will be dropped dead pretty soon.

You only have access to so many nodes though which means there is only so much you can do until you get up their in levels which is why you go DPS for campaign.

agreed. yet the answer I have is : " Get good, your build is bad, you dont have enough defense"
