You are playing a pretty bare bones version of the game compared to what has yet to be released.
Not to mention all the things that will be added after the game is fully released.
If you don't like it now, stop playing and try it every now and again when new content has been added and see if your opinion changes. If not, there are millions of other games you can play :-)
No one cares if you do or do not like it why did u make a post?
The player/sales numbers and reviews say otherwise
1. audio sucks, abilities sound weak
i dont use headphones, so i dont notice this issue. i think a lot of people that play aarpgs are primarily only interested in how the complex the systems are and how they interact with loot
2. cosmetics visually trash
it seems there arent too many skins out yet, so maybe dont judge too soon. although i dont really like them that much also, mainly bcs they are too expensive to me, but sets do offer individual customization if one were to buy multiple sets to pair different pieces
3. identify purpose? too much tomes, sort?
a) im perceiving you meant wisdom scrolls for IDing. i believe it adds a dopamine hit to people that get to reveal an items potential. this one might also just be a nostalgic or a repeating theme in these games as well
b) the only reason u would want scrolls is to ID during maps, i would assume most high tier players dont pick it up anymore and eventually need to buy it
c) a sort button would be nice, sure. it shouldnt be a deal breaker for playing tho
4. story "forgettable"
the story had cinematics, character development through continuous dialogue increases with each quest complete, it wasnt too edgy, and the bosses tracked with the zones and story nicely. the zones guided you to new areas quickly so that you could experience escape being hung to later going back and fighting your way to kill the count who tried to have you put to death, then witnessing the slaves pulling the caravan and its so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up but you get told they were bad people so i guess its kinda okay lol, and then you get toward the end, and you're going back in time to fight doryani but he ends up teaming up with you to start the portal system (maps). seems pretty awesome to me
5. needs guide for success, brick build, unable to afford respec
solid point, and i agree. its hard for new players to try new things with the current system and overall get punished for attempting build diversity. copying and following someone else just doesnt seem fun and feels very limiting, and its more enjoyable coming up with your own build idea instead
