ALL my inscribed ultimatums are BUGGED - CANNOT do 2nd ascend
The green one DISAPPEARS on every character that I’ve logged out and log back in on… every one that drops afterward is plain (not green quest item). This is getting VERYY frustrating as I have been unable to ascend ANY of my characters.

The green one is meant to disappear after you complete it once. It's meant to give you chances to learn how to do it until you succeed.

You have to get higher tier ultimatums / barya's for your next points.

They are not bugged because they come out plain. That's how they are meant to be.

Way to misunderstand.

The first and second Ascensions are done through unique quest versions of the coin.

Balbala's Barya and Chimeral Ultimatum respectively.
These have a green name, 8ndicating their quest status.

There is a bug with the Chimeral one that causes it to literally despawn out of your inventory before you even get to the Trial of Chaos.

For the OP, It WILL suck, but the regular Ultimatums will unlock your second Ascendancy point, it just won't have the fail protection that the green one does.

In Utzaal, there is a side room that spawns an Ultimatum. AFAIK, it will always spawn on the map you just need to find it.
You can use that one to get your point, just be aware that it has a slightly higher monster level than the Chimeral one.

Didn't misunderstand at all fyi.

My first character didn't have this problem and everything worked normally.

My second character had the exact same thing happen as OP, and when I got the next tier of ultimatum/ barya it worked fine.

The green one disappeared, and ONLY normal ones drop now. That is a BUG

They’re def bugged. The green disappears entirely and the regular ones are drop chance and no safety features if you fail

That is not a bug. that is intended design.

Mate, the Chimeral Ultimatum is NOT "supposed" to delete itself out of your inventory *before even arriving at the Chaos Trial*

This is 100% a bug. Something is causing the Chimeral Ultimatum to be deleted. When it happens, you don't even get a chance to run the Trial.
You pick it up from the Chimeral and it vanishes out of your inventory never to be seen again.

If it happens, you have to use a standard Ultimatum.
The problem is that failing with the Chimeral Ultimatum returns it to you the same as the first Ascension.
The standard ones do not have that protection and are higher level, being 42 monster level at the earliest rather than the Chimeral one being 37.

So yeah, you can still get your second Ascension done with a standard, but you don't get the protection of the Chimeral one returning if you fail.
