IP Ban for Selling Items In Chat

I got IP banned for selling an Item in chat for lower currency price. e.g selling a gear (Expert Stone Mitts with high stats) for 20 ex but market price is 50 ex..Chat people are trolling that they won't even buy it for 1 exalted and then I got IP ban for this. literally for trying to play trade and play the game. is this even justifiable for an IP ban? and how long for this IP ban to be lifted.

If you log in to the PoE website, there will be a message waiting for you. Click on that message, and it will tell you what you were banned for and the duration.

if you were falsely banned and have the chat log you just have to be patient and wait for ggg to reply.

I think I might have to wait for few weeks before I can get a response from them based on what was previously discussed.

Problem I can't log in to their website since I am IP banned. It'll just take me to talk to support ggg email address.

Yup, the reason is in the chat log. See how the one guy said "this isn't trade chat?" They will ban you for a short period of time for posting items for trade in non-trade chat channels.

Ip ban is permanent ban on account. I don't think it's short.. how does it deserve to get this ban when many people are actually doing the same thing trying to sell their items in Global chat.

Well the story just changed from one item, to "a few". Spamming isn't allowed. Now you know. Funny how if you keep at it enough, you can find exactly what happened because the OP changes their story.

If you check the log. Did you see any spamming no. I was just trying to sell stuff literally and trying to play the game and trade. Does it really deserve a IP Permanent game ban?

I Auto IP Ban after. now I can't log in and GGG support is not responding at all.

You no need to look to trade market, you can download "Sidekick" or similar addon and you will know price instantly by pressing one hotkey.. but since you are banned it is too late for you.

I agree. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if these "bots" were actually powered by GGG themselves, unfortunately. But I don’t really mind—if someone does, there's always SSF as an option.
