Gear acquisition is terrible
PoE2 can never be considered a good game as long as trading is by far the best way to upgrade your character. Crafting (if we can even call it that) isnt worth it and finding an upgrade through just playing is impossible because the loot is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

The entire point of this genre is getting loot and progressing your character. GGG has failed in every single regard to create a satisfying gameplay loop here, that is the simple truth. PoE 2 is a terrible ARPG and as long as Jonathan keeps doubling down on these autistic game design decisions it will remain forever flawed.

So much wasted potential

Crafting can definitely be improved but your post is quite an exaggeration.

I understood it just fine. You want exponential upgrades for your exact build to drop from the sky constantly and a fast-track to the late endgame build you read about in a guide, but don't want to put in the hours necessary to get there. So you just grind currency and trade it for scraps instead of trying to figure out how to progress in the game. You're in a hell of your own making.

I'll ask again - if the loot is so bad, where does all the loot you buy come from? Sure, there is exploited gear, but the majority stuff going for less than a Divine is not it.

If you play SSF you roll on everything that looks half-decent. If you play Trade you sell good gear that drops if it doesn't work for you and buy what you need. Those are the intended gameplay loops as you progress into more difficult content that enables you to get more valuable gear.
Arguing in bad faith making up weird strawmans. Blocked
If I wanted to argue in bad faith I'd have brought up all the comments on your profile calling you a troll as an argument against your character, but I didn't. Yet you've to respond to a single post in the thread with anything but dismissal. Sad.

Second step - Then you make game unplayable without real money.
You can complete a whole campaign without spending a penny.
Or you cannot deal enough damage without that shiny skin?

After that, you can decide, do you wanna spend money on tabs or not.

Just play SSF. Or learn to craft-gamble, crafting is much eadier than PoE1 crafting, but also more RNG.
There isn't anything to learn with the crafting in this game it's pure rng and to combat it you need insane amounts of resources so its just cheaper to trade.

LOL.. oh man don't make me laugh.. the most successful arpg to exist in franchise and trump diablo is apparently a failure according to this review, i mean its not even a discussion seeing as the majority of users are swamped to this title and love grinding gear games for a reason.. mostly because these people played poe1, so they know what to expect in regards to support, i mean we are each entitled to our opinion but if your opinion was based on the whole then the game would not be as popular as it is.

Considering how the playerbase reacted to GGG ruining harvest, I dont think I am in the minority.

Its "EA" its in beta.. its not even remotely finished in terms of development, and we all knew this from the getgo.. especially those of us who bought into poe2 from the very start.

If you think you get perfect item from drop, you will not even understand whats this all about.

No1 thinks current system is flawless and only bad/lazy players thinks its broken.

I mean, what?

Firstly, any game that allows trading will always have trading as the quickest way to gear a character.

I would say 50% of my upgrades are from trades the others i find.
I am just not sure how other people play the game. But if i play a sorc i pick up all the wands. White, Blue and rare.

So i can craft on them quickly see if i hit a +4 or +5 on it...
And i just keep spaming. Sooner or later you get something decent. Might take a moment tho.

You call this upgrade mechanic crafting ?
Lol, i played many mmos and others and this is just a bad upgrade rng mechanic and nothing else.

Normaly i would play this game but this absolut bad loot drop, the trading simulator in the game and rng upgrade mechanic is destroying my game fun.

Ive no problems with a bit grinding or 10% xp lost or some one shot mechanics but
make a progress only in the possible way as mentioned isnt my time worth.

I dont assume they will change this absolut stupid trade center.
If they would change the loot drop so you can primary get your progress from loot
and tradecenter is only an alternative to absolute make a small tuning thats fine.
