issues with waypoint in endgame

I am in the endgame and I am attempting to travel back to act 3 to defeat the molten vault. However, none of the waypoints work. I cant even enter the encampent in the endgame from the map. Any ideas or advice? I have restarted the game, attempted the "trail of chaos" button and nothing is working

are you walking to and clicking a waypoint to access the map?
or are you pressing "u" to open it? if you open the map with "u" you cant travel anywhere thats correct.
