One shot by a random mob

Doing higher map tiers in the endgame recently and i noticed that i keep getting one shot by random normal mob or explosion, i have around 2k hp playing a monk with over 80% evasion chance and over 75% physical damage resistance with capped 75% elemental resistances and 40% chaos resistance and still I lose a higher tier map without even seeing what killed me. is this getting fixed?!

You're playing armor/evasion monk?

you don't have 75% physical resistance, armor not work like that, the bigger hit the lower armor works for you

2k hp is joke, sometimes I get hit for 4k dmg lol

Not to mention that a lot of the things that blow you up are chaos damage or elemental, which is why Chaos Inoculation and ES stacking is so damn strong.

Respect protect me from harm on invoker, spec into energy shield and evasion nodes and grab a evasion/energy shield chestplate. Run meditate/grim feast with ci and you'll never die.

2k hp is meaningless, evasion doesn't increase your ehp, and you're not even running acrobatrics so your evasion is useless against on ground aoes.

Why even bother with evasion at all? Meditate effectively is a "100% more energy shield" node. Monk also has easy access to 15% energy shield nodes, and jewels don't have hybrid defense scaling, so going full ES lets you benefit from those 20% increased ES jewels even more.
