Path of Exile 2

Path of Exile 2

Either Trade is horrible or the Community is horrible.
Sure you can usually get something done with a couple dozen exalted or a few divines, but I just sent out literally 62 trade requests for those Wanderlust boots, and no one replied, invited, or traded. I can't even imagine how horrible of a experience this is for those on console. In fact, every one of my friends plays on console and they don't even bother trying to trade. They just have me do it. Obviously PC is better, yes, but why isn't there a better trading system in place anyway? It shouldn't have to come down to what platform you're playing on, and if it's cross-platform, they make it functional for each platform... Regardless, almost ALL of those people I auto-whispered still have their items up on the trade website...

So there's 2 choicesn and maybe I'm just a different breed and tired of bs:

- Ether make trade like an auction house, y'know, how games started doing in the early 2000's. I understand GGG is owned by Tencent, but come on.
- Otherwise there needs to be a group within GGG dedicated to sorting through trades and penalizing sellers that do not respond, do not invite, and ultimately do not trade; wasting peoples' time and energy, and GGG"s budget.

I agree with you but not sure what tencent have to do with not having a AH, this is what GGG wanted before they even acquired them.

You need to watch this vid. It'll open your eyes this trading BS GGG turns a blind eye on: https://rumble.com/v60qx78-review-poe2-how-ggg-rmt-scheme-is-destroying-this-games.html?e9s=src_v1_ucp
The main idea of PoE end-game is to make you quit to save on servers rent so it's going to stay as hostile as possible, with 10% xp loss on death and dysfunctional "trade system" :lunar2019madpig: I wouldn't expect radical improvements when the community has marked the game as 81% positive reviews already :lunar2019crylaughingpig:
Monjac Jan 11 @ 3:37pm
if you sent 62 trades nobody is replying to you , it means the price you offered is far too low and nobody is interested .

I do that whenever someone whispered me and lowball on the items I was selling .

Also remember that the trading site is mistakenly thinking 1 divine = 5 exalted , so whenever they show you some items for 5-10 exalted , they could be wrong and some of these sellers are fishing for higher price .

Try again with a higher offer .

There are items you can buy to prevent the 10% loss , down to like 2% .

Theres 1 reason why ppl are also farming the trial of Sekhemas , you don't lose exp dying in the trial .

you don't lose xp if your honour goes to zero, if you die I believe you lose xp in trial of sekhemas, but maybe I'm wrong about it

yeah i have always been suspicious about GGG involvement with RMT themselve cuz when i first heard of poe1 in 2013 it look like some meme indie f2p game that tried to copy Diablo 2-3 and develop by NZ and nz economy for pc game is very new to them and kinda poor, so i always wonder on how do they make money, now this video kinda confirmed my suspicious LOL

Do you really think he is offering less than 1ex in a wanderlust? A lot of players don't answer at all. I had a similar experience trying to buy Hand of Wisdom and Action for 3, 4, 5 and 6 divs. No offers, just trying to pay what people are asking for. Most of them, after a /whois, were in their hideout. Took me about 20min for someone to finally invite me to trade.
Compared to PoE1, PoE2 trade is absolute cancer.
Price fixing is the major problem but uneducated players are playing their part in this.
Last week I was trying to buy a pair of gloves for my chronomancer sup. There was one for 10ex. Whispered the guy and he didn't answer. He raised the price for 15ex. Whispered him and got no response. He continued raising the price 'till 50ex. Sent him a message asking how much more he would raise. He then invited me to his HO. When I got there, he said "80ex". Bought the gloves, reported and ignored the guy. I really hope a lot of people do the same so these dumb ♥♥♥♥♥ stay playing the game alone at one point.

.

Or that someone has already sold those items ?

I literally just bought a HOWA this morning for 1 div , it wasn't great roll to be frank and corrupted with 2% quality but doesn't matter much .

There are a bunch of them on the trade site for 2-3 divs for days , I knew some of these ppl r fishing for higher price , I don't msg them. Thats why you refresh and look for the most recently added ones , those are the ones that reply more often . Also I look in the trading forum and ppl tend to be more friendly over there.

Regardless , I did still get no replies from offers from the POE2trade site, but not 62 replies in a row. For me its 20-30% but I usually do a lot of digging before offering anything.
