No, you just need to know what you are doing instead of gauging how well other classes should do based on one of the 2 easiest classes to play.
Sorc and Ranger is easy to play. No real thinking for builds.
Witch and Merc are moderate. You do need some planning.
Warrior and Monk are hard. Melee has been a bit hard to work with in EA. More skillful playing and planning your build ahead helps a lot.
Somehow I had more trouble clearing certain areas than killing campaign bosses.
The funny thing is I built a second monk to endgame before any other class could finish the campaign because I find everything else boring and uninspiring. So if it isn’t for you, it is what it is. No harm no fowl
none of my other characters reach his dps and yet his equipment is below average. even the ranger is more "complicated" to play at the start of the game
Starts off kinda slow, but once I got a good lightning damage staff in act 2 it was pretty much smooth sailing all the way.
Honestly, that is kind of what it seems like haha. I am trying to give everything a fair shot though. Building a sorc and merc now and starting to see some potential, even early campaign.
Ah well, if a class doesnt click, there are 6 more coming, so either way, I think if you build it right, every class has some potential for fun
