Game is already dying because devs wasted their opportunity for a successful launch. How's that "vision" working for you now?
Enjoy watching player base numbers continue to drop.
XP on death after level 70
One shots to non-telegraphed boss attacks
Cheap deaths
Best part is when the game finally dies and servers officially shut down, NOBODY will be able to play, because it's an ONLINE ONLY game

I can tell OP has never played PoE1 before.
I think he he truly believes PoE2 will die and never recover.

Player count dropping is normal. Every new PoE1 league, hundreds of thousands of people get hyped and play. 1 months later posts exactly like OPs get made, listing all the same exact reasons.
Then new league and content gets released and it starts all over again. Almost always more players than before.

PoE1 survived 10 years doing this. This is normal. Servers are not shutting down. I can promise you that.

PS This Sunday they are doing a live stream event talking about all the new stuff coming to PoE2.

GGG makes a game for their playerbase, and hypetrain players come in from watching streamers and try to change it to be D4, which would indubitably make PoE fail and break everything GGG stands for and made their success. :D
Then they prophecize its doom because they don't like it, and they're GGG's single most important customer, even though they have 100 hours and we all have 5000 in the first. :P
GGG sending veterans keys for EA 2 weeks early, they're letting us keep our cosmetics and our stash tabs. They really know how to make their veterans feel valued. :P

Exactly my thoughts.

Kinda reminds me of my childhood gaming days.
I fell in love with Dead Space 1. Survival horror game in space with a dedicated fan base.
Then you see an obnoxious group of kids compare it to CoD, Gears, Halo. Next thing you know Dead Space 3 comes out and EVERYONE hates what it has become.
Same exact thing happen with Mass Effect and Dragon Age.

Lucky for us PoE is a game made by gamers for gamers. I don't think they will fall for this.

The game is no1 in its genre and like no4 overall on steam and is also sold on other platforms. Im sure ggg is pretty happy about their launch :D
