my ranger damage for my level

Level 25, my bow shot is 373 and my lightning arrow is 366. I'm trying to figure out if thats on par or way behind somehow.

Depends on the skill, the dps calc doesn't really interact with secondary effects like many Lightning Bow abilities, but I'm pretty sure that is good.

I remember getting to Act 3, switching to Fireball and respeccing for fire, dps said about 200-250 but the damage was way off from a dps 200 Stormcaller Arrow.

Shocked enemies take increased damage, that's increase is not estimated there.

Purely off memory, that is low. Really low. If I'm understanding it correctly, your average unbuffed DPS is around ... 800?

I wouldn't dare try to make suggestions without a *lot* more details though.

Just keep messing with your build. You will see what you need to do. There are plenty of youtube videos to help you along the way.

I care because i want to like the game but I finding it very difficult compared to how most other players seem to be doing.

way behind! At lvl 14 my lightning arrow was 1,400 dps.

In POE 2 your weapon matters more than anything else while you're leveling. ALWAYS keep your weapon up to par with what level you are. I think its like every 6 or so levels you can buy a new weapon.

I can get 10 shotting Geonor with Stormcaller Arrow but basic Lightning? Pics or not real
