move speed modifier showing 21.2% but 25% on boot ??

got 2 boots both have 25% move speed

checking my character stats
one pair shows up at 25% move speed modifier
the other pair shows up at 21.2% move speed modifier

why does it increase from 21 to 25 when i take off my Energy shield armor ?

why ?? how ???

what kind of voodoo is happening here

my heavy armor boots show as 25%
but my paper slippers with only ES show as 21 ???

I believe that if item has armour it has MS penalty. If you get full gear without a single armour item you will get your full 25% MS.

the only pieces with armor left is gloves -> 37 armor
there is no change if i take them off

i can put on my pure armor boots and they show as 25%

if i put on my pure ES paper slippers - they show as 21.2

if i take off my pure ES body chest piece - it goes from 21.2 to 25


nothing of this screams logical


edit : putting on heavy chest with 800 armor and 300 ES
move speed modifier drops from 21.2 to 20%

why would my move speed modifier go from 21 to 25 if i change from paper slippers with ES to heavy armor boots that have no ES and no evasion

essentially - the lighter gear makes me move slower which doesnt seem logical
and heavy armor makes me faster - not logical

It doesn't make sense for a full-strength warrior to have to suffer a speed penalty wearing heavy armor or holding a shield.

Because you're expected to already know. Gear has hidden movement speed penalty that you can't find anywhere in game. You're suppose to be a mind reader and know it.

it be fine if if follows some kind of logic

but using heavy boots with armor should not make me faster then paper slippers that have no armor and no weight because they made from paper (leather )
