GGG is owned by Tencent

Didn't know this before, but GGG is owned by Tencent, a Chinese company with very large server farms located in China. As someone who's dealt a lot with China, I can tell you a strict rule that all Chinese companies must follow. The government can come in without warning and review and sieze any data they want. Tencent is in full compliance with this law.

I don't know the specifics of GGG's arrangement with Tencent, but if your data sits on Chinese servers, then it is not safe.

Just a head's up.

Diablo4 was just the same, when it was new. Lots of people played.
PoE2 and Diablo4 lots of people played both success,
over time thats when it matters, after the game is not new anymore and there are other games newer.

Give it time, people left.
5 years from now, I aint coming back to this game, I'll be at Diablo2 if I'm back. I'll be on whatever is the new game.

why are you guys like that ? POE 2 already had more player retantion than any other POE 1 league, this is a HUGE success already, why are you compairing it with DIABLO that has NOTHING to do with this game ?

POE2 already is a winner by all metrics, sadly blizzard dont release their numbers but i will guess that even compared with D4 POE 2 was already a big success

they are retain those numbers 1month+ after an EA release. It shows you how well it has been received. But all you got is goal shifting and gas lighting.

Also, it will have a bigger surge at release than in EA. So, your words mean nothing about it's release. It has not officially happened yet.

Where do you get this 4M number?

Here we go again ...

Presently the SteamDB shows 248,514 CC.
There are 5 other clients besides Steam (GGG's, EPic, PS5, XBox, Nvidia). I lowball those at 40% to appease the trolls. This gives a total for all clients at 745,542 CC avg at this moment.

CC is only a small sample within a 24 hour period. TO get the avg pop total we can use the CC. But first we need to know the avg time players play per day. I use 4 hours. 4 hours within a 24 hour window (1 day), gives you 6. THis numbers is what we use with the total CC to find total avg daily pop.

745,542 * 6 = 4,473,252 for a possible total for the daily pop.

To be more precise, add the highest peak with the lowest peak for the day, then divide by 2 then do the steps I provided.

There is that whole inconvenient invasion of Ukraine, so not exactly the same.

Expect D4 kept messing up from the start, and could not stop them selfs. And blizzard was not loved compared to GGG. Blizzard also hardly cannot just F up all the time, those bobbys world memes didt come out of no where.

You never answered when I've asked so I've been asking it wherever you claim this number. I thought it was from a database, but it appears to be your faulty calculations.

LOL, show me how it is faulty? What is faulty are the sites who claim they can calculate the total pop but never use always ignore Epic and standalone clients in their counts.
