Path of Exile 2

Path of Exile 2

0.1.0e Hotfix 7 - Jan 6, 2025
Taken from the official POE community message boards.

Fixed a bug that could cause some characters to be disconnected, most notably when trying to use the Demon Form skill granted by the Demonic Possession Infernalist Ascendancy Passive Skill.
Fixed a visual bug with item deferral cost in Ritual.
Fixed a client crash.

You will need to restart your client to receive the client changes from this patch. The Demon Form disconnection fix applies to new instances.

0.1.0e Hotfix 6

Fixed a bug where allocating Chaos Inoculation would incorrectly count you as being on Low Life.

0.1.0e Hotfix 4

Volcanic Fissure Aftershocks can no longer create Jagged Ground.
Fixed a bug where characters who hadn't completed the campaign could enter endgame areas through other players hideouts.

0.1.0e Hotfix 3

Fixed 4 instance crashes.
Take 2, fixed a bug where certain rare monsters would respawn at checkpoints after Culling them with Lightning Warp.

0.1.0e Hotfix 2

Fixed a bug where Shapeshift Weapon Set points weren't applying in instances after allocating them.
Fixed a bug introduced in patch 0.1.0e where the Spell Gem Level from the Demon Form buff did not apply unless you resocketed affected gems.
Fixed unintentionally lowering the base minion critical damage bonus from +50% to +30% in patch 0.1.0e. We have buffed base minion critical damage bonus to be +100% (higher than pre 0.1.0e values) to match the base player critical damage bonus. This will display incorrectly in the character panel until a later patch.

0.1.0e Hotfix 1

Fixed a bug where Unearth wasn't raising temporary minions in some cases.
Fixed an instance crash with Totem skills.
Fixed an instance crash with Wind Dancer.
Fixed an instance crash with Lightning Warp.
Fixed an instance crash in Trial of the Sekhamas.
Fixed a bug where the Passive Skill Notable 'Ancient Aegis' didn't work.

Oh, no! You created an unrealistic expectation and played yourself. Yikes.

embarrassing I know!

If it's 6 months, then only 5 months left to put all the missing classes in, put all the missing skills and support skills in, all the missing weapons, 3 acts, and ensure everything is balanced.

Somehow I find it hard to believe. They would almost need to introduce something major every few weeks in order to meet the 5 month suggested schedule.

Something tells me they will not release in 5 months from now. A year maybe, and I think that is still pushing it considering what is missing.

0% chance they are ready for full release in 6 months. Nearly the same % chance this will be out of EA by the end of the year. I appreciate the optimism, but there is no way they make it out of early access this year. Perhaps next year.

exactly, not the players fault they're trying to keep GGG to a standard they set

Absolutely no way they get bugs, balancing, 6 new classes, new ascendancies, new skills, etc etc done in 5 months. 6 months was a very very optimistic estimate with 1+ year being much more realistic

Yeah, I'm certainly not going to blame players when they are inevitably upset/disappointed in a few months. I think GGG is either purposefully setting an unrealistic expectation to get people to buy into early access, or they are the most optimistic people on the planet.

The former is looking like it to me.

they delayed EA for three weeks, do one patch 8 days after release and then silence for 24 days. that's no short of awful management to say the least
