League mechanics?

With the game being a lot more difficult than most arpgs, and the progression times being significantly longer as well. Does anyone know if league mechanics will have increased xp gains or any means to progress to endgame quicker?

League mechanics are inherently xp boost, since you get something like 3 times the monster density in any map because of the league, so if you do the league mechanic in every area you become overleveled pretty fast.

Was this the case for every league in POE1? I'm super bummed out about the EA access servers not being apart of standard. It's a shame, because I truly enjoy playing POE2, it's so much fun. I have very limited time to play the game. I don't want to be just chasing up to end game content every league.
