I desperately hope GGG ignores the people crying to turn POE2 into D4

I feel like a giant chunk of what I'm seeing as requested game changes or "improvements" from players are people who want the game to fundamentally be something other than what it is.

I really hope most of those comments get ignored. Keep the POE/D2 feel the game has. I played D2 for years and years. D4 couldn't hold my attention for more than a day or two at a time. Let the people that want a D4 style game go play that. I want this game, just finished and polished.

They are not. Those "players" are not the target audience. POE2 is made to be a new type of ARPG and it has proven that it's concept is what the players want. You have over 5M avg daily players 1 month after an EA release proving this new ARPG is the right direction.

Track record, GGG only listens to their fav streamer of the week. They've always done thst with POE 1 on every major change, and it shows how much streamers don't know about ARPGs, they just chasing the game of the day.

I haven't seen anyone suggesting things that are D4 like. The only thing I've seen is people expecting GGG to make good on the original vision for PoE2.

Right now PoE2 plays like PoE1. Which wasn't what the vision was originally.

Then again, I try to stay away from steam forums. It's awful.

Which one? Nobody here nor reddit nor youtube ask this game to be like D4. They do ask this game to take a few things from PoE 1. Lets just being frank about it that some changes they make is worse.

yepp the main targets for GGG are npc which pay 500$ for a skin

Doesn't mean the developers should ignore all feedback, the game is in Early Access after all. Pretty sure POE will stay POE and D4 already exists.

Basically 100% copies D2 but modern.
