Poe2 is one of the best games i ever played (been gaming for 40 years) and i can't wait for act 4, 5 and 6 and the other classes and weapons.

Not really doing endgame, did 1 waystone and didn't like that it's just random mobs. There was no immersion.

Best game you ever played? Like, ever? I mean, yeah it's good but I wouldn't put it in my top 25 after 40 straight years of gaming. In my opinion, the jury's still out on it being ultimately better than POE1, and that was just from 2013. What about Diablo 2? Isn't that the dragon's tail we're all really chasing here?

They were VERY clear on what exactly would be in the game at the launch of EA.
Then just before EA went live, they explained EVERYTHING in great detail and how it all works.
I dare you to go watch the reveal stream again and see if anything you or anyone is complaining about wasn't talked about in the stream.

We got exactly what was promised.

Edit: nb4 some smart ass tries to say they didn't tell us about this or that bugs and balance issues... yes they did. They literally said to expect bugs and balance issues.

We got more a truckload of bugs and an extended vacation for those with no real skin in the game like old development studios, poor communication, and I would forward another decade trying to get this version right. The evidence is that GGG as a development shop cannot deliver on the vision timely.

Timely? They said the project will take at least 6 month to complete. This means they know it is not complete. In fact, they made it publicly know it was not complete going into EA.

Unless you have a time machine, you cannot say it failed or not till official release. And to add. How do you know what a timely manner is when there was no release date.

It's like a crypto project because Tencent already owns 85% of GGG, in a crypto project you get it rolling and provide tokens to the developers so they continue to develop. So that is what we get 15% skin in the game and this is exactly why we get a poor project with 3 weeks of vacation like a mini rug after release

2 weeks of vacation.

In the end, your analogy is moot.
