GGG has done a remarkable job at culivating "yes men"

Anytime someone has something to say via feedback, complaints or discussion involving topics of changing how something works you'll be swarmed with poe1 players who feel the need to tell players how the real players play the game.


Listen no one cares if you devoted your whole life to a 10% xp loss, people don't want it. Games are meant to be fun while having challenging aspects. that can feel rewarding but when the gameplay loop is fight or flight 24/7 you won't retain players.


I'm struggling to understand the goal of poe2 since there's 0 communication. End game is the same fast paced go go go mentality while the campaign is slowed down. Personally I don't see this game changing in a different direction.


a player shouldn't be forced these hardcore gameplay loops when you have a hardcore side of things.

xp loss on death
1 death map
loss of loot on death
-res to players for completing your acts(this is fine but explain it's happening to the players)
no crafting only slot machines
visually impaired people really struggle with so many effects. mostly just more disability support. for example mouse wheel scroll keybind would do wonders for someone who has 1 arm. really small but I have a friend who talks about this a lot
Trade needs a overhaul
citadels are a rng puke fest that can take 1hr-200hrs
no loot filter for console players in a loot based game is egregious
update tooltips to be more accurate of what they actually do.

maybe I'm being crass but it's awful how your 500 usd supporter packs worked fine and that was a priority for launch instead of a loot filter for console

there's honestly to much to get into that needs to be attended to or fixed. but I don't have anything positive to say. GGG has personally lost my trust as a consumer. I really don't have anything positive to say so hopefully this game see changes hopefully before their next 23 day vacation.

Present CC on Steam DB is 285,005.

We know there are 5 other clients (Nvidia, Epic, GGG's, PS5, XBox). GGG's client would be a higher CC than SteamDB cause it would be the primary source. But for the sake of the trolls, it lowball the other clients to 40% due to SteamDB is a reliable source for CCs only.

1 client at 40% = 114,315.6
40% * 5 = 571,578

Possible total avg CC at present from all 6 clients is 856,583 CC.

We can use this to discover possible avg daily population, but first we need to know how many hours the avg person plays per day. For an ARPG I would say the avg would be 4 hours for the whole day per seron. 4 hours goes into 24 hours (1 day) 6 times.

We can use the six to find the possible avg daily pop.

6 * 856,583 = 5,139,498 for the possible total avg population per day. Better than I thought.

If you want to be more accurate, I would do that with the median of the lowest and highest of the peaks fo a day and use the formula to be more precise. I always use the present count to calculate avg daily population.
