Mob stagger mechanic

Hi All, looking for a bit of advice.
I play a sorceress and am constantly being staggered/stunned/shocked by mobs and then my health bar just hits zero. I really want to know what the mechanic is so I can find a work around but I dont know what it is I'm being hit with. It's mainly from guys throwing spears or archers etc. The stagger / stun only lasts a second but its enough for me to get totally overwhelmed during a breach for instance.
All my resistances are maxed if that helps.

Any advice would be welcome :)

stun threshold. reality is it is a garbage dated mechanic that should be removed. included only to annoy the players, be obnoxious, and bog down the loot affix pool with a stat that does nothing to begin with

my advice? play a game that isnt designed to annoy the player at every possible turn with ancient, uninspired, boring, garbage mechanics.

Search for "Asceticism" in your passive tree (P button), if you are high on energy shield.

There are passive that convert % of energy shield to stun threshold.

As others have pointed out, Stun Threshold stat will help. But as a sorc, you should probably focus on your dps. Your goal must be to project as much death and as far off the screen as possible. If anything's moving on your screen that's not your own barrage of destruction, you will get 1-shot eventually.

It's the game not you. There are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mobs that are broke. crit numbers are off. aggro range from off screen is also broke. Pushing further past lvl 80 or higher it only get's worse.
Try each class till 80ish,. move on till there's a update. Plus there is no confirm on wipe, so we might lose it all anyways , so just use this to learn stuff for now. Endgame is for p2w sweat streamers currently

You won't lose anything. There is no wipe, they are going to sanction off the early access characters into their own realm. You won't be playing these chars on release with full release people.

Thanks for all the replies, at least I know what it is now. I have 5k energy shield and 60% of that is stun threshold from skill tree, boots etc. But that isn't enough, I just get stuttered constantly.
As for my DPS as a sorc I do obliterate the entire screen. However, during a breach I am getting hit by bobs not even on the screen from all angles, that 1--2 seconds of stutter is all they need to totally lock me down and decimate me. Well, at least I know what it is now, tnx again all :)

Yeah opening a breach is a massive PITA on a less than godmode sorc. Best I can say is pop all the CDs, especially the lightning orb, fill the screen with lightning and then walk in and pray :D

Yes I looked into this, but isolation is needed for this and that costs 350 exalts att the moment :(
I cant afford that, I only play a few hours after work.

Edited: what I mean is, i would have to put this on a necklace because my tree takes me well away from there, I would need a spare 6 points to pick that up
