what happens with someday "leagues" or seasons begins...
its my first time poe. and i know there will be season/leagues with new features bosses items etc..

but what happens to my stash? do i keep them? and what is about my currency? will it take over? - how was it in poe1?

Standard will remain, though I'm not sure if EA characters will be isolated to an EA standard or not.

But usually what happens is: Standard league keeps playing as is and it never resets. New league everyone starts fresh characters with nothing and play until the league is up and then those characters get shunted off to standard.

standard is the forever place, new leagues are fresh, you keep your stuff in standard but it aint coming into the league with you.
at the end of the league all your characters and stash move to std as remove only stash tabs.

i once went trhough my remove only tabs. never again.... took days....

Haha, right? I just ignore standard on PoE 1 as I do NOT want to deal with the like 400 remove only tabs.

Standard will always be like, this place where you never lose your stuff, though yeah, they may wipe the slate once full release comes around.

Then, how it works, every 3 months or so they release a new league with new features, everyone starts over in that league, but you still have your stuff in standard, just you don't have access to it in league. Once league ends, your league characters/gear gets moved to standard, and the new features of the league get implemented in the whole game if people liked it. Things like strongboxes, breaches and essences were all league things that made their way into the whole game.

leagues are fresh starts in a new economy for everyone.

everything in standard stays in standard.

after the league ends, everything from league is merged with standard.
