how do you find name for your character?

When i want to play all the classes finding name for each of them becomes a problem. I would really rather just use my account name for all characters but oh well.. So how do you solve this problem?

I solved it by using the last letter of my preferred name and added it 8 times.
Like nameeeeeeeee. That's usually not taken.
I was going to use numbers but you cannot use numbers...

I used to give divinities names, you can find a lot of cool names even related to your character if you look up lists from mythologies around the world.

This time some names I like were already used, I used some names that I find funny,
like when I saw this magician show advertising where the guy was called Vladimir Darkness. I'm learning Indonesian, so I used a few words that came to my mind, or food recipes...

Also original names from characters or places in books I read...
Make a list and name a few in advance if you plan to play for a long time.

usually go with something foul or vulgar like "FART_BLASTER" on games like this with naming conventions from 2004. imagine needing unique character names in 2025 just lmao

Pick two or more nouns. If that doesn't work add an adjective either at the start or in between the nouns. Works like a charm.

Add extra letters before and after to the same name.

My friends and I were inspired by some of the names of the monsters in-game. It probably wouldn't work for your first character since you wouldn't know the monster names but you could use that for subsequent characters.

Idk, isn't that hard. I just do silly ones.

My friend and I each jokingly call eachother bubby, so I played a witch, being female, so went Bubbyette.

Then, my next one was Gorgantua, seemed fitting for a warrior.

Lastly, using Hextechnique. Just sounded like a cool word.

Just combine words to sound cool, honestly.

I would suggest pick a name you like then add _the_Icebound or _the_Ass-kicker or something to that affect. I had a hard time finding a witch name cause all the ones that i like from books or media were already taken. DuchessOfErat is my scorc name from a book i like.. cause her name was taken, i named her title.
