* they also removed a lot of listings yesterday, dont know if the people got banned yet or not.
A reset isn't required. Early access will have seasons so it won't affect seasonal leagues and early access will be a separate league when v1.0 launches. There's no lasting economy damage.
Which is lame, if they don't have the knowledge to fix something and can't fix it, they shouldn't ban ppl for doing it. Not our fault Tencent doesn't know enough about game development to where they can fix duping. Damn, learn something or let it go.
One of the Diablo 2 devs on X was talking about this very issue a few years ago, and how they attempted to fix duping in Diablo 2 and how much work it was, Because in Diablo 1 everyone just duped the best warrior gear and passed it out like candy. So they attempted to fix that in Diablo 2 by giving every single item in the game an ID # manually, as they had no AI to help them do this.
They prob wont do a reset until they are ready to drop the first big update.. but will see.
I doubt they wipe, google says they dont
1. Yea they tanked the market but at the same time with the rarity of divines this was a god sent for players who can't farm that many. To give the rest of the player base a chance to buy these items at a not so inflated value.
2. With the way divine orbs sky rocketed in their value with them been very minimum drops gave more players a chance to try those high end whale builds in EA without breaking the bank.
If GGG would increase the drop rate of divine orbs then yes i can see the duping as a problem. But this is not the case. Because the currency is so rare to get maybe get 1 divine in 6-8 hours of game play with 200% MF in t15 maps.
There was only 2 other ways to get divines.
1. trade all the currency you farmed at the currency exchange and eventually trade enough there to get maybe 1-2 divines for your 6-8 hours of playing.
2. put literally everything you have on the trade site (which only about 50-60% of the player base doesn't use or know how to use) to build up enough EX to just do step 1 above.
Players that already have 1 shot builds that play for 10 hours everyday straight just farming don't see this because they are probably already geared to the teeth with 300+ MF and farming a entire stash of goods and currency to trade for divines. Seems kinda silly to half to go so hardcore just to get a couple of divines.
One final comment. Not like this is a MMORPG it's a ARPG where 90% of the community plays solo. Not like the extra hard to acquire items are hurting the gameplay overall since it doesn't effect each other.
you're faithfull :) i think only a little % use that "market"
a auction house IG would be appreciated but it seems to be a dream at this moment
