system specs?
To be fair, that card will be 8 years old in 2 months - hardly cutting edge, so not sure what you are expecting it to do with new releases.

It's not the card. I'm betting it's his cpu.
would atleast think id get slightly better then 25 fps, d4 i was gettin 50-60
This game has spikes in cpu usage and honestly uses my cpu than I thought it would. I have a 5800x and during spikes it will hit 100% usage and during normal play it likes to hover around 40%. If you are using a 1080 Im guessing your cpu is from that gen as well so you may be getting cpu bottlenecked.

I have a mere 1080 (not Ti) and with my 4k resolution I at least usually manage it to get a bit more than 30 FPS most of the time. But who knows, maybe your graphic settings are much higher than mine, or the game is cpu bound for you. Or maybe you toy around with skills that require much more cpu power, like fire or minions.
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8400 CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.81 GHz
is there a way to fix this apart from a new pc?

you problably have engine multi threding disabled due to the fact that it freezes your pc on loading screen, enableing it will give you a significant fps boost and ggg has no fix to this issue, so either wait or enable and disable engine multithreading between loading screen

Had this happen to my wife's laptop after a windows update. I updated the intel management engine interface driver and the fps jumped over 60 fps in game.
how do i do this?
ill try n see what happens. fingers crossed

Thats a pretty slow processor I don't know if it is up to the task. A way to find out is to run the game and monitor you cpu and gpu usage if you gpu isnt maxing out but your cpu is you are bottlenecked by it.

Yeah worth a try. That fixed my issue in my case but there might be a different issue for you. Anyway you should get around 60 fps on that system. Do you have 16gb ram?
