In some cases this game hurts my eyes so bad I actually went to the doctor one time
GGG please tone down those ultra bright effects this is litterally making me want to uninstall.
That is me: "Oh I'd like to play so poe, mmh but it's going yo make my eyes hurt and potentially get me a headache so actually imma play something else, see you next time poe"
If the game industry have problems...the biggest one is people like you lot.
This kind of response is just pointless. You debated none of the actual points made and instead chose condescending broad sweeps to D4.
But still i think this could be good in a way somewhat, taking time to just highlight those things in a humble free post here.
I really hope two things.
First that the build we are using is not the core build and will be just a patched build that will have a complete rework before the official launch implementing all the debug, hoping they won't introduce other bugs by cleaning the build, because it's a shame to publish something in this State, just because the picture you give of the Studio.
It would be very sad to learn that we are playing the official branch core build that will be patch over and over during years......
Second that GGG will react faster about bad design choices and maybe test their game deeper?
Just a point, how is it possible to miss the Blood mage Leech bug or armor bug or all the other BASIC THINGS? How is it possible to miss the CoC problem? How in few hours LvL 40 players are already able to show it up as they don't know the game yet?
The problem comes when you put this Dev in a larger perspective.
This game is not a fresh 1 year build that need money and help to push the game concept in a good State, it's a 4 years dev Game, coming up with a 10 years previous Title solid experience, supported by fan players, new players, and Tencent.
Be honnest, this is NOT what we expected, they said " is half backed" yes ok, they said " it's EA" ok. We have 50% of the class, ok, end game will have to be Tweaked ok.
I was supporting their vision, mocking a little bit the errors or other studios that i won't mention here, and at the end??? They did the same mistakes and even worst. They should stop staring.
So it's not half Baked, it's 30%, not even EA Beta, once again it's clearly an Alpha.
Your 50% class are not working, your late game need A COMPLETE REWORK, your progress scaling is Absurd, you have no replay loop, the loot system is not in place, your market system is wrong, the game Runs poorly and i'm afraid it will stay like that + all the things that we can see all arround the Net, streamers, community feedback etc etc.
It's not a clean base, solid but incomplete that just needs time to be even more solid
IT'S A COMPLETE MESS.
Cheers.
Had reasonable expectations you know. Turns out the game is much more playable that I anticipated, compared to PoE1 beta and things like palworld or BG3 EA. :P
You litterally paid for an early access pass to play the game in an unfinished state. you paid for what you're complaining about. The game is free.
Also, not many actual poe players care about standard rofl, we're all here for leagues. My standard stash on PoE1 is probably filled with 750 temporary stash tabs of junks that came down from leagues, and I am never gonna log there to check it.
Edit: Thank you for validating me with your points. :D
