GGG please fix Engine multithreading freeze!
Engine multithreading on gives me a stable 100+ fps but turning it on makes loading screens freeze my entire pc which means i have to turn it on and off... Again this is a known issue forcing people to manually restart their pc.

Tencent already said they don't even know how to fix the game breaking atlas bug and they are trying everything to figure it out, so yea, expect your issue to be fixed in a few years.

Joke unistall this ♥♥♥♥
The timing of this issue was very unfortunate - Xmas, New Year and the 3rd of Jan being Friday. Most places have been closed down from Dec all the way till the 7th of Jan, including GGG. Now I'm not trying to defend them: we barely received any communication/updates and the crash has been around since release (even 1 month prior to that, since some people claim that it also exists in PoE1). Just pointing out that the holidays exasperated the problem. Hopefully we hear from GGG next week.
Poe2 is next gem bleeding edge, not. It was formerly Poe v4.0. As of now, other than graphics, GGG hasn’t anything in 5 years to make it a worthwhile sequel. Poe2 is just less of Poe1.

I'm 80% certain it's related to Windows update that Microsoft actually admitted to being bad update. update 24H2 or something.

Honestly, I have confidence that GGG will do their best to try to figure it out in due time.

few fixes you could do is:
- install linux distro of your choice and use proton
- downgrade to 23H2
- downgrade to win10
- get a tool which limits poe process to only 95% of CPU usage

i did all of them and settled on linux/win10 combo

great... held out last three months at work with having sick kids and working with a fever cause i knew i was gonna have christmas and new years off to chill and play but i have been without internet till today and now the game is broken... its always ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ something
Known issue from POE1, has to do with Core C-States.
Running a Twitch stream or a Youtube video and/or disabling half of your cores improves FPS, which sounds absolutely insane but actually works.

I understand this isnt the final product, but a hard reset can cause dmg to the System.
So pls, pls pls give us a solution for this.
I will not touch the game until im sure i dont have to force my PC into a potentially damging process.
I don sh*** money

The performance issues in their games are since the release of poe1...

there's a solution to having to do the hard reset if you are okay with enabling and disabling multithreading before and after every load screen (im not doing that).. Here's the video, basically you allocate cores https://youtu.be/ySOQb3q1aes?si=UkOv7l32hiZt8TnV&t=185

I started experiencing this too. Sad to see this. I hope it gets resolved soon.
