Did they fix complete comp freeze during loading screens?

Is it safe to come back? I had to stop playing but keen to come back if they fixed it. This issue with the latest win11 version been rly annoying. I know disabling multi-threading before a loading screen works to avoid it but I cant be bothered doing it every time.

I don't think so. I'm not gonna risk my PC on the game until I'm confident it's fixed either.
I wouldn't expect any kind of real work until like next week probably.

Yeah will probably be awhile, but should have been priority number one for them tbh, instead of nurfing abilities with every update lol, fix main bugs first...

Yeah that sounds very similar to my experience, first week of EA it was fine but then it started doing it, and its crazy how its a complete freeze like comp doesn't respond to anything at all have to hold a power button to force restart. Never had this with anything I think since like Win 7 or Win XP days lol.

My specs i7 10th Gen, 32gig ram, 2tb ssd, and RTX 2070. So very different to your setup, I guess its nothing to do with hardware its just windows and poe issue.

just open task manager while POE is running at the main screen, go to details, right click pathofexile, set affinity, and deselect one of the cpu cores so its not using all cores. 100% solved my issues crashing at loading screens. no apps to download. but must be done each time you re open the game.

I guess so. Atleast my game doesnt crash anymore. But i reinstalled windows recently and its still build 24h2

PoE uncrasher works but they really need to fix it so it's not necessary. All it takes is forgetting to open it one time and then your whole PC freezes. It's unacceptable.

They havent been working for 3 weeks. So no, they went on vacation before fixing a bug that literally hard crash PCs.

It's never happened to me. Playing since day two (missed day one, they took too long and had to leave for work).

The only issue I am currently having is the massive constant lag spikes. It'll be sitting around 50-65ms then all off a sudden, BAM 150-300ms (even in aspot where it's literally just me, no monsters at all and it just keeps doing that back and forth while just sitting there). All my test speeds are fine. My other online games are also fine.

They ain't fixed it but I also don't recommend downloading some 3rd party tool.

Guys my game doesn't crash my windows but loading screen takes like 2 min. and after teleporting to new zone the latency goes up to 300k. and then I just spam relog until I have normal latency. Is this the same happening to you?

Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop Gpu
1 TB m2 ssd
2x 8 gb ram
Windows 10 22h2
I tried Vulcan + D12 its same. My latency "ping" in other games even in poe1 is rock solid.

yep i keep dying to this, so frustrating, want to just play. Normal online games are fine. but in dungeons ill freeze in place

Interesting, no never had that my loading screens usually very quick and I'm on a laptop, i posted specs on page one. Latency mostly ok as well does fluctuate though, the main issue has been the occasional "hard freeze" during loading screen forcing me to restart comp. But I tried the trick "Boosty" suggested on page 1, seems to work for now.
