Yes, it is a fully playable game and it will add plenty of content before it is officially released.

You get to be part of the developmental process and get entertained while you do so.

Hell yeah it is under any metric.
Use the 300 points you'll get to buy AT LEAST the currency stash tab AND 1 premium tab for trading.

I think it is totally worth the price if you like challenge and exploring builds , game mechanics. That is if you like this genre.
If not I would wait for it to go free to play to see.
As much as people cry about things, game is completely playable, there are some minor bugs, but as whole game is alright to play.

depends. Like act 1 is great
Act 2 is pretty damn boring with maps way longer than they have any right to be
Act 3 is pretty mid overall
And end game is widely seen as trash and incomplete
Difficulty wise:
with guides - Pretty easy overall
Without guides - well you have seen all the posts, can be crazy difficulty .

Personally I was struggling through the game on my self made witch build, but as a ice strike monk I destroyed bosses in under a minute.

No, its not. Wait. Seriusly. I have been playing PoE1 since 2013. If you do play Poe1, all of your stash tabs and MTX WILL bet transferred over. That being said, when you do buy the game, you get 30$ in MTX...cool...
There will be nerfs that will make you upset, walls you will hit that will halt progression etc. This is because its in EA. Play the first game and wait till PoE2 is fully cooked and all the classes, skills and areas are done. Trust me.

If you're gonna buy it, buy it now because it gives you the currency value of the $30 you spend (300 points) and there's a stash tab sale this weekend. Won't be back for a few weeks. You're gonna want to buy stash tabs (especially the currency tab) but just look up a video of which ones you should buy.

The game has problems but you will get 100hrs of content if you are into it.

You will have to play through the 3 acts twice to get to end game though, so keep that in mind.

Coming from playing D1, D2, D3, D4 and POE 1. POE 2 is worth the buy in. But as always tis Early Access so watch some youtubes etc and make your own decision.

well seeing as when you "buy" your also get 30$ worth of gold in the MTX store so when it goes F2P you ll already get your bonus the second you start if you spend your gold on tabs and not cosmetics

I'd wait and play PoE 1 in the meantime but that's just me. Maybe you'll enjoy this one right now.
