Failed Trial of Sekhemas, now stuck?

Hi so I just died in the first boss of this roguelite mode (didn't even notice the low honour thing, rather annoying but not why I'm posting). Now just... nothing is happening? Normally when you die there's a respawn hud element that comes up but there's nothing here now. I'm not sure what to do other than restart. That can't be right? Is it maybe related to failing because of the honour thing and not because I died died?

If it's the first time doing it as per the quest, you can reload if you are stuck and just talk to the NPC again to get another trial token to start it again. Later on you will have to find them as drops or trade with other players for higher level versions.

I'm... that's not really what I was asking about but thanks anyway, I didn't realise this was a limited thing, I'm now pretty pissed off I failed because that boss was almost dead.

In the trial if you run out of honor or die you failed have to start it over again. Luckily for the first one you get unlimited tries for later ones you lose the item and have to get another one to try it again.

Sounds like you may have experienced a glitch. Try relogging. That should fix it.

Guys I'm not asking about the trial I'm asking why I had to ALT+F4 just to leave after dying.

Happened to me too. It's bugged and only happens at the boss. Just hit escape, go back to character select and log back in and try again.

I literally couldn't even do that. Nothing was interactable. It wasn't frozen, the game was still running normally, but there was no hud element button to select anywhere and hitting pause didn't bring up a menu. I had to alt-f4.

Same here, when I die games locks up. Have to exit to character screen.

you don't come across them easily either, this is not a game for people with even a couple o hours of spare time, this is for people willing to put 16 hours per day into this ♥♥♥♥♥ state of a game and even that FOR WHAT???
