PSA Relog after every trade
Reset your session ID's after trading.

Kick people sitting in a corner in your hideout by swapping the hideout.

Don't trade with Korea, Chinese or Russian players.

Don't trade with non ascendancy level 25's

Relog after a party failure, i.e: you invite person for trade, they insta join and leave


This crap happened in PoE 1 5-6 years ago and was later solved but it took forever. It's back now in full force and effect.

This isn't a 2FA problem.
This isn't a data breach issue like other posts.
This isn't a extension or 3rd party software issue.

They can simply log in to your characters under your session ID and swipe your stash.

Nice. I also notice I get stuttering after trading, so I've relogged a lot afterwards just cuz of that lol. Didn't even know there was this issue.

Weird getting stutter after trades idk if that is from this issue but we'll see what GGG has to say about all this when they get back.

Glad i havent traded!!!! Im at trade league but low lvl so trading was out of the question for now

People can still trade, just log out after each trade or a set of trades :3

Same, just bought a jewel from a chinese named guy and he ran to the corner of my HO and just sat there, so I got to wondering and did some digging myself. And yea, I can totally take over your POE 2 account just by trading with you. Weirdly funny how all a sudden Tencent had this bug in its game and it's only chinese players doing it to ppl.
