Trial of Chaos 1st time

Do i have to complete all 10 room encounters or can i take the reward option and get my ascendancy points that way? Playing HCSSF and seems a bit risky arleady on the 3rd room, since the options i can pick are rather bad.

Other than dying I don't think so. You could try picking the modifier and then quitting the game and maybe it will fail you so you could do it over?

If it will let you, you can try interacting with the thingy you put the trial coin in and see if it will let you close the door which should reset the trial.

Pretty much all the ultimatums are bad. since its your first trials of chaos though you get unlimited tries so it doesnt matter that much just keep running it until rng doesn't completely screw you over.

You can reset it by going to the alter at the start and selecting Close then Open. You won't lose the token.

I'd make sure I over level it by a decent amount if I was playing HC though.
