Permafrost Bolts Vs Glacial Bolts

I’m finding Glacial Bolts more difficult to use as opposed to Permafrost Bolts- they don’t seem to “cover” foes with ice, instead building ice walls that I suppose you can then explode with passives like Herald of Ice, although since the GBs don’t really freeze the enemies right away like the PBs do they seem trickier to use. Anyone else been waiting for the GBs to replace the PBs and been underwhelmed? I’m probably using the GBs wrong- if so how so?

Glacial Bolts are less Enemy relevant for Combo. Glacial Bolts Wall can be exploded with Fragmentation Round Bonus Damage when you cant always freeze Higher enemies or Bosses. Look at the Bonus Damage for Fragmentation Round vs Frozen. But i think you need Weapon Swap with 2 Crossbows and ammunirttion types for fluid Gameplay.

Glacial bolts made my life way easier. You just hide it behind and spam shotgun. Works wonders in corridors too

- Simple answer - one crossbow with massivbe HP leech and when you have full HP switch to one with more damage... otherwise why would you need a second weapon slot when this does not work?
