Pc is fine, 4070 ti with i9. There are countless threads online on reddit and the forum of people having this issue.

does this come with a hard freeze of pc too sometimes?

if so youre probably on win 11 24h2 update wich is the issue here.
either revert that update if you still can
or clean install windows 23h2 with an image from uudp dump and disable all updates.

I bet a solid 40% of people with performance issues don't have Rebar or XMP enabled in their BIOS.

has nothing to do with it
everyone has performance issues of some kind since the game is heavily cpu bound and some effects, skills, ground effect or on death effects cause massive fps drops or frametime issues specialy noticeable once you reach endgame
even if you have the beefiest cpu you still drop heavily.

try disabling e-cores, if that doesn't fix it and you have a 13th or 14th gen, you may genuinely have probs with your cpu regarding a mistake intel made with voltages.

I am running this on a 4070ti and a ryzen5 5600x, and it's smooth as butter, and I never crashed, and I've seen lots of people having issues with e-cores on other games.

Define countless threads, even there was 100, there's 300,000 concurrent players right now. 100 people having issues is an absolutely tiny minority within statistical noise.

That and forums and since this is the only game that i ever played where i had to disabled 2 cpu cores to stop it from crashing my whole pc.

Is there anything on their bug reports related to this? This seems ridiculous and pretty extreme. I'd definitely look into that to see if something hasn't been written up about that.
Must be environment-specific. I have 300 hours without a single crash of any kind. 4080 and a Ryzen 7. Current Windows 10 patch.

Nothing extreme, i only found this solution because other people have this same issue online. I keep saying this to everyone but since no one believes me just google POE2 Crashes on loading screen and you will find 300 pages within threads about it.

yeah this, intel has been doing terrible.
maybe intel needs to fix their ♥♥♥♥, not GGG.
Every time there's CPU related issues, it's always recent i9's or i7's, and it happens on every game.

I definitely believe you, that's just an extreme solution to be able to play the game... kind of makes me want to wait to upgrade my CPU until more optimizations happen...

At least it's up on the official forums, so it's CLEARLY well know.
