It's like we're back at BG3 release where everyone was putting that game pedestal, not able to handle criticism. The game has many bugs and many design flaws, lots of improvements that could be made.

Furthermore, saying "it's early access, duh" as some kind of excuse to dismiss valid criticism is ridiculous. Is that the precedent that should be set? All game studios just releasing their games as early access with a paywall so they don't have to fix or improve anything? Game breaking bugs? "It's just early access bro, calm down".

A product needs criticism or it will never develop and improve.

He doesn't have one. These types of people say things they think will stir people. Its 2025, people are done with this type of behavior, and are fighting back. Its why people like him are mad, they can't abuse the narrative anymore.

If people stopped trashing the game and the devs for actually having a pre-release game with bugs and actually left feedback instead of puerile anger threads, people would be a lot more civil in return.

It all comes down to attitude, and most of the threads here are full of really stinking piss poor attitude rather then pointing out flaws and offering constructive feedback on how to fix it.

When someone just posts "this is trash, D4 is better" then its clown fiesta time, and rightfully so.

POE2 is only getting a handful of the hate that D4 is getting. Maybe all that low-tier criticism is a response to that, people glorifying POE2 even through all the bugs and wonky designs, and meming on D4.

It's missing half the content. Nobody is glorifying anything.
I just hate to see this game go down the same road as LE, and die based on unheard criticism, or just plain bad criticism.

You are looking at it wrong. We should have games release in EA. I am for ALL games releasing in EA. The problem is when companies do not FIX things when in EA. like D4. D4 was a Dumpster fire, and they kept telling us "No, you don't want that" That is the problem. Its why Blizzard is an F tier company now. "No, you don't want that" with WoW Classic Servers, and then with OW2 PvE, and then with D4 Classes/Tweaks/Gameplay (remember the damn "Replay EVERYTHING" on new season issue?).

GGG Does EA, fixes issues. PoE1 is a fine example.
Blizzard does EA, Fixes nothing, makes things worse, tells us we are wrong.

Which company you want to back here?

and btw no, the "rate the endgame thread" is like 90% of people posting rating below 6/10 for endgame.

The vast majority of people posting in this Thread dislike the endgame more or less for the same reasons.

This isn't PoE issue. This is steam security issue. PoE is suffering as its the latest most popular game. Otherwise the targets were CS GO.
I've had 3 steam accounts hacked, and then I learned not to install ♥♥♥♥ on my pc.

They can start the game through the hijacked session, and play and get you banned. I've had this happen as well with Rust. A game that I haven't touched for 2 years suddenly I got a ban on it.

2. They're blaming the trade website with 0 evidence to support as the culprit here.

3. Yes PoE needs 2FA.
But even 2fa will do nothing against session hijacks.

Solution.

Enable family view on steam, put a pin, and disable all games behind that pin. Even if they hijack your session, they won't be able to access anything in your account.

Just another bs formed from lack of educational information.

You've had years to learn that you should keep your expectations of Early Access games really low unless this is the first time you've used Steam. The game is gonna be broken in some way and we're all expecting that.

It's been like only a month and the devs are on vacation. It's too early to get unreasonably angry over anything. If you have so much of personal problem over it, you could just put the game aside, and then come back to it when the game is finally out of Early Access.

And this probably isn't the place to post your criticisms if you really mean that you want something changed. They have a place to post bug reports. You're really just preaching to the choir over here. Or maybe you're actually just trolling just like 20% of the posts in any busy Steam game discussions page.

I am not particularly concerned with them dedicating time to numerical adjustments if it detracts from the overall development of the game. There will be ample opportunity for such refinements in the future, potentially over several years.

TLDR: Individuals ought to have been aware of the circumstances they were entering. Stop focusing on that monitor-induced tan and engage in an alternative activity if you find yourself so frustrated with the current status-quo.
