Overwolf Overlay2 Exiles Exchange WARNING

DO NOT USE THESE!!! i repeat do not use Overwolf overlay 2 , Exiled Exchange 2. these are currently sharing your data with 3rd parties and are leading to many hacked account. i went to install exiled exchange 2. DO not use these programs, you will put your computer, passwords and everything at risk. DO NOT AUTO LOG IN to any of this with your vital information. Lots of people getting hacked right now using these

Turns out the sky was not falling! Yeah oversold does install some crap but I used it for years in PoE 1 and now using it in 2. Zero issues.

i yesterday installed exile exchange 2 becorse of the option to look for offline trades aswell. Todays moning my account for locked becorse someone tryed to log in from another country.
This happend directly 24h after i installed exile exchange 2. Before that i used Sidekick since the EA startet.

Zero issues with overwolf overlay, please post your findings of third party here for all to see, I've been using it for well over a month have over 1k divs chillen, never had an issue. Think you RMTing is the issue ROFL.

So far works without problems. I am not giving them any data or 'login' beside what they can get from the game. Raw addon that just gathers my characters data. Good luck trying to login into my Steam with 2FA.

The problem as you can read everywhere comes from playing standalone version and possibily giving them login data. Also reading further about this topic, there must have been a breach from the GGG website in some form or another.

They are not...

You dont need to log in with your PoE account to use these filters on Overwolf..

If you are doing that then you are doing something wrong yourself.. Quit spreading false info and being paranoid.

It all started 1 month ago when multiple people got hacked. Look it up on YouTube. There are few videos. Allegedly a lot o them used Overwolf + standalone version. But few supposed to have steam as well. It looks like the security issue came from GGG launcher and/or stupid people having weak passwords and/or some other weakness like from trading.

GGG didn't release any statement. So it's quite not clear what setup was mostly the issue.
