loss of skill tree points
I am playing as a monk, and today, I noticed my quarterstaff on the skill tree is missing 4 points. I have had this complete for weeks. Is this a bug or something.....

you're using set specialization points. You might have allocated points to one set instead of the general tree.

I have never equipment a second weapon throughout my whole run. If you are speaking about the weapon set, it shows an even number.

when did it start?

I noticed it today, I have been using the same weapon since level 55ish and I am level 74. I do not see any points missing anywhere else on the tree and the spot it is missing on, I would have NEVER respected that area. It is essential. I even have screenshots I sent to a buddy of my tree from a week ago that shows that area completed.

Just found on POE forum others have lost points as well.

What you need to do is add everything up and see if the skill point total makes sense. But would need to account for quest skill points.

I have a total of 95 points at level 74 ATM, completed all quest on normal and cruel.

So I looked up that you get a total of 24 points extra with quest. I am at 95, so i am missing 3 points in theory. Definitely lost those points.

Do you have 24 weapon set points? They have this new feature where you can allocate a different set of passive skills for each weapon set, so they award you with 24 of these along with free passive skill points. You can do something like allocate points for two-handed weapons on set 1, and then allocate points for one-handed weapons and shields for set 2 to match your gear. They're not really extra points on their own, but it's a good indicator for whether you already have taken all the significant side quests.

These are weapon set skill points. Your character is not bugged, you get 24 that can be spent either as normal points or separate for two weapon sets. I repeat: Your character is not bugged.

Using WS points are a mistake, they bug out half the time atleast.

You shouldn't use them unless you are actually using them, otherwise just put points in as normal. I have all 24 set up for warcries / totems on my warrior and use none on my monk.

I was going to like use them, but i would get errors like, there is no link to here, or something like that. So i gave up trying to use it. It would not work.
