My point of the topic was hopefully when the game activates AFK that it will also auto_pause the game thus nobody else has to experience this scenario.
I would hate having to have this be a thing on my end.
GGG doesn't really follow Steam forums. They only really pay attention to the official forum where they have dedicated areas such as "Early Access Feedback". If you actually want to provide feedback, you should do it there.
So all was fine and I could finish my session with out a loss.

A pause can sometimes be broken if your character moves, for example if someone pressed WASD keys on your keyboard. This is not always a thing, but in some situations that's how it works.
So if you have a cat that can jump on your keyboard while you went to do something else, or someone might do something to your desk they might accidentally unpause.
It's a good practice to understand that pause does not make you safe for longer than a few minutes maybe.
