I just made new post about bleed...
Yes, I saw. The issue isn't with Bleed, it's with the skills that are currently available for X-Bow. I also ran Armor Pierce/Fork/Armor Explosion for packs and High Velocity for Single Target. Some weapons just tend to do better in certain playstyles. You can run Bleed X-Bow but it won't be as effective as if you ran a Bleed Bow or an Elemental X-Bow.
If i put +25% fire damsge in skill with armour explosion i think it will boost it?
But damn then its loosing sence to break armour at all....
And no goood options for x-bow fire based bossing skills...
There are quite a few lightning/elemental nodes that Merc shares with Ranger/Monk and is what I ended up eventually switching into. I'm not too sure on fire/cold as I didn't pay that much attention. If you did an elemental conversion of fire to lightning or fire contributes to shock then the armor explosion could have the potential to be more powerful.
The Three Dragons Solid Mask will make fire damage contribute to shock instead of ignite.
A better idea would probably be fire to cold conversion as there are quite a few uniques that do that.
Only gives shock chance from fire. No magnitude. Meaning i still to go for lightning clasters...and no point to do it anymore bex i xan just go full galvanic build...
Thats why u say PoE2 has build variety problem
Lightning doesn't give magnitude to shock either, it only helps for the threshold.
For shock magnitude you have to pick shock or non damaging ailment magnitude clusters, whatever build you make, even with a regular lightning build.
Only damaging ailments (poison, bleed, ignite) benefit from the initial hit damage for magnitude.
If that helm gave magnitude to shock it would be the best item in the game for any shock build and lightning builds would be useless becasue you would just pick the helm and make a fire build because fire has a better average dps than lightning.
