Second stun threshhold is based of max health initially if I remember right. More max health helps everyone, so get more if you can. Try and get decent base defenses as well, they are not absolutely neccesary, but especially thorugh the campaign they are easy to get fairly high.
Wind buff can get your evasion high enough to have a 50% or so chance to avoid normal attacks. Won't work for AoE etc, but it will cut down on how often you are hit, especially from range attacks that can freeze/stun you.
I don't boost stun threshold at all, tons of characters, none of specialized in stun threshold. I have never had a problem with getting stunned. Decent defenses + high health (which even my MoM/Eshield characters still had decently high health as I am for it on my equipment) helps a ton with avoiding getting stunned.
Freeze is actually more dangerous to me, and is generally what I run with if I can only have one of the two. High resists help a ton with freeze though. I generally try and max resists, and over max (by increasing my max resists) on most of my characters. Half of em run around with 80% fire/ice/lightning.
That helps a TON with not getting frozen. The biggest defense is freezing everything before they can hurt you though. All the defenses in the world won't protect you as much as just flat out killing everything before they can hit you.
Used in combo with freezing/killing everything a stun/freeze charm combo will generally prevent you from ever being stunned/frozen and then killed. It works for me across a wide variety of builds.
