Zero Microtransactions transffered
Is anyone else experiencing issues with their Path of Exile 1 (POE1) microtransactions not transferring to POE2? I’ve spent over $500 on POE1 supporter packs, and I’m really frustrated that none of my microtransactions are available in POE2.

I emailed support six weeks ago to link my Steam and POE2 accounts. Four GGG employees have responded to my emails, but none of them have resolved the issue. I understand the game is in Early Access, they’re still porting transactions, and the team is likely on a well-deserved holiday break. However, this has been an ongoing problem, and it’s preventing me from trading or chatting in-game. Ive also had to spend more money on stash tabs, despite the fact I have over 20 tabs I paied for in POE1.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to successfully link my account? I’ve verified my email, but it still shows as unverified. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

They stated from the start that not all MTX from 1 will transfer over right away. Some will take time as they have to recreate the, in PoE2 basically.

Have the same issue. Can´t merge accounts. This is unacceptable. I understand to some extent that they have their hands full, but we don´t even get a feedback email when we contact support. This is just disrespectful towards the customers. It´s one thing to know it will take time to fix, it´s a hole different history to be ignored. This doesn´t seem a small issue. Players cannot trade while this isnt fixed, can´t crossprogress either. I advise against buying this atm, just because if you run into any kind of problem: THE SUPPORT IS UNREACHABLE AND TOTALLY INEFECTIVE. That´s my experience so far.

Unfortunately GGG are just a bunch of scammers, they managed to scam people with early access and now that no one can refund, they don't have to care. They got the money already

lol there was no scamming involved.

They were very clear about what would be available during EA, what wound not be available, and what would take time. Since EAs are incomplete games and can range from early Alpha tests to late Betas tests.

MTX were stated by GGG multiple times that they will transfer all the ones that can be transferred from a logical perspective. As in, whether or not the skill/item/tab exists in PoE2 and hasn't changed dramatically in function/appearance (Jonathan still said they will try to transfer said skill gems). They also stated that MTX transfers to PoE2 will take time and will be added to the game "when they're ready." This was all stated days/weeks/months before EA release.

Anyone who has dabbled in mesh, skeleton rigs, skeleton/vertex weights, texture modding, and transferring such game to game, knows it takes time and sometimes entire reworks of a mesh weights and texture layout. Old PoE1 MTX armours etc. before 2019ish (before newer PoE1/PoE2 skel rigs) and skill MTX for say minions will be the hardest to create (and we may need to buy multiple "Summon skeleton skill MTX now for example).

Again most of all the things people complain as scams were public knowledge before release. Like the Cruel Acts and "why do we have to replay the campaign twice total scam!" when GGG stated in their first EA reveal why that was the case. Just because you didn't do your due diligence and watch proper streams or do basic research glossing over summaries of such, doesn't make it a scam.



It's like saying an Ice Cream Shop scammed you when they advertised "Chocolate Ice Cream Sale!", and you missed the whole "Chocolate" part and thought you could get discounted Vanilla Ice Cream. That isn't a scam and is totally on you for not having reading comprehension. :p

This. The armchair engineering is strong on steam.
And then all these little armchairlings pump each other up and start thinking they have a point and they're a majority, but they're running on fabulations and they're like, two dozen people. :P

Actually you can due to GGG not dealing with the crash issues steam has being doing refunds some with roughly 200 hours played not sure how long it will last but you can probably jump in with that crowd and get a refund if you do tho you will probably get your account locked due to the currency they give with it if you spent any of it

You won't be able to transfer your MTX unless you get another key on your main POE account. You could try contacting support, but the issue was on your end, not theirs. They aren't obligated to transfer your account over to your main POE account.

It sucks, and I'm sorry this happened to you, but that's pretty much how it stands.

You could try getting a refund through Steam as well. IDK if it'll succeed, but you could try.

Hardly zero. I got all my tabs. Maybe not your skins yet. But I dont expect GGG to give away the game either. They need you to buy more mtx.

why cant you trade chat and team up?
as i understood you have a poe1 accound on the stnadalone clinent and another account for poe2 on steam.
to use the trading website you need to login with steam to access it with your poe2 account
your ability to chat or join partys shouldnt be limited no matter what account you use

when poe 2 becomes free2play just go back to your standalone poe1 account and you will have all your fancy mtx

The POE sites wont let me "verify my account". I have tried several times. Even changed my email and then changed it back.

I hate to email them a 4th time but its been 2 months.

Yeah having the same issue.
Because i cannot connect the steam account to their site the steam account ain´t "verified". It´s not a minor issue. I wish they stop looking at the pixels/reworks and prioritize proper access to every playes. Ofc they are not scammers, but they sure are unprofessional. If they don´t have a fix for this yet then please say so instead of not even responding. I´ll just hold on to any microtransctions and probably will quit playing because of this. FFS GGG don´t make me go to Diablo IV... -_-

Poe1 also had a EA, it was known as po1 alpha, and was a paided access only.
Went it ended it went to open beta on steam.

I finally received a response from GGG, but unfortunately, it seems they won’t be able to resolve my account issue. I’ve decided to delete the game, as I bought it for my two nephews, and it looks like I won’t be able to play with them. It’s disappointing, but I’m done. THey have offered zero solutions.
