Yes keep nerfing freeze build up. Remove CoF or meta gems completely.

I'm stuck with 2 CoF and 2 CoC for my comets and it still isnt efficient for anything above T6 maps.

I'm done trying to spend divines to make the build better. I die to anything that touches me anyway.

Meanwhile archemage sorcs exist zipping around breaking the game at record pace. But hey you wanted to nerf comets... Nice.

When you look back to how people were using it, it still wasnt even faster than a lightning arrow deadeye at the time. Now look at ice shot bombers.

Jesus chris Johnathan bring back original CoF or give it a 50% energy buff.


Pure frost sorcs are basically only running eye of winter with elemental fire or frost wall and spark.

It surely isn't the best but rotating to archmage instead of meta skills made it easy to reach T15 and I didn't need to change too many items.

Don't worry too much about gear I'd say, if you struggle with T6s it's probably not because of your items (unless they're total garbage)

Archmage is most definitely guaranteed at this point going to get nerf. Its damage scaling is off the chart and any caster that dont run archmage means they has 10-50k less dps which is just pure insanity. Spark is crap but because of it become the best spell in the game.

They really need to buff frost damage most of if is too low. There is people spamming comet but you guess it, they use archmage also.

i couldn't beat act 3 as a full ice mage. i just don't have the damage output even following a gear guide. i'm not even to end game maps and i rolled a new character all of those EX wasted on trash build

I'm trying to build a PURE frost setup. Its nearly impossible due to the nerfs they did. Our clear is bricked. I've dumped 8 divines now into this current setup and its suitable until some crappy white mob stunlocks you and ticks you for 5k dmg a hit in T10 maps.

Johnathan needs to stop watching twitch and nerfing things that "look" OP.

Bring CoF energy gen up to 25 energy per freeze and up the rest of the meta gems by 10% and we are cooking. Otherwise prepare to struggle between offense or defense on a pure Ice setup.

You either go full glass cannon or go full turtle with frost wall. It sucks donkey balls.

I play a Frost Wall Frostbomb chrono. 2 quests from opening the tier 11 map quest(level 81). The Pathing of Frost skills is so bad. Wall is really bad indoors. Bombs that Cascade don't register in doors at times. Outside the build is solid(safe if a bit slow).

Also, Chrono tree skills need to be swapped. Just swap Reset Chance and Rewind(You have access to Blink silence!). I know that sounds crazy but there is no way you are getting through the last 2 Ascendancy without the reset as a Bomb Chrono(AND Time Freeze. I Tested after btw. This is how I know for certain). The reset makes the whole thing work. I bought a carry because I knew I wasn't getting through playing as I was, even though I knew the Play-style was viable.

The reset being where it is limits build creativity. You need Time Freeze and Reset Chance to run my build effectively. Those should be the EZ Skills to reach. Not Rewind. You can compensate for Rewind. Its not as build defining as Reset Chance.
