It took me that long to learn...
Phase 1? just dodge her spear thing and spam attack her.
Phase 2?
When she starts channeling the fire circle things, they're pretty easy to dodge while you keep attacking. I was able to navigate around them while still holding down attack. When the purple circles form, run the perimeter, and run to where 1 of them just blew up. Keep running to the ones that have just blown up.
Phase 3?
When she shoots out the yellow things to activate the spear men, again go right around the perimeter and just wait for the ones you're standing next to to flash yellow... then get ready to barrel roll away... Either carefully step to the non-flashing ones, or barrel roll just as they throw their spears. In the final spear throw when they all do it, roll INTO the direction that just threw the spears.
Do that all again and again until she's dead.
God help you if she spits that machine gun poison dart stuff. I have no idea how to save yourself from that. Some times she doesn't use it at all. I had many times when she opened up with that and spammed it 3 times in a row as her first 3 phases.
Anyway, I'm not very good, so I'm probably giving crud advice. But if I can kill her, you can.
Thx but after getting stress out of my system I managed to kill her.
Mapk - belive me when I say that I was doing similar strategy, but as a monk I had to equip crossbow to have any chance against her.
Don't even mention spiting poison, that one attack she also spammed when I tried to keep distance from her.
But as I said before - getting spearmen and Fire/Chaos AoE combo back to back 3 times almost killed my soul.
I think bosses are a way to check for your weak spots and you improve on them. My issue with Viper was the speed at which the spears go at when they flash green to actually hitting you. gotta memorize dodge depending on the direction they are going. Viper herself isn't that hard.
