Herald of Plague not working?

I dont understand this buff skill. I have spirit allocated to it, i have it turned on and my build is poison but i do not see any icon on the screen like say herald of thunder when it activates or even if it is activating as there seems to be no visual que on the field. Is it bugged or am i missing something simple.

yeah i tried to find about this too, but no answer and I think it is a bug atm.

I haven't used it but don't you have to hotkey that one and use it when it "fills?" It's not an auto-aura styled thing like Herald of Thunder. I may be mistaken though.

i dont think so becasue no added skills appear to place into the hotbar

Just checked on a character. It does provide a power called "Plague Nova" that you use when the Herald of Plague "fills." Check again and you should see it.

thats Plague bearer not herald of plague its 2 different buffs i know cuz i have that one working thats why its so odd that herald of plague wont work

I have a question about herald of plague. If i use fragmentation of round with crossbow and add a gem that gives 50% chance poison, can herald plague activated after i poison and kill one enemy with this gem???
