CPU usage 100% i5-11400f

Is it normal that my CPU is used on 100% most of the time and i have low fps when its i5-11400f (higher that recommended) ? Minimal quality, 36gb ram rx 7900xtx ssd disk

Yeah, your CPU is way too weak for that GPU. It is desperately trying to keep up, and failing.

But i dont have any issue in other games like cyberpunk or others aaa easy 60fps or higher

It's a mystery considering there's even some i9 users experiencing 100% CPU usage, I'm not and I'm using a i7 12700K. I'm wondering if your 7900 isn't getting utilized enough?

GPU usage is around 50-60% i check bottleneck calculator and even if it is only around 16%. CPU usage is almost always 100% even in camps only with npc

This game is much more cpu bound than cyberpunk or any singleplayer aaa game.

Low quality settings only helps if you have a bad gpu they do nothing for the cpu.

If you want your cpu to not be at 100% then set quality settings to high or ultra, that way the
gpu does not have to wait for your weak cpu all the time.

i said wrong, sometimes CPU usage drops to 50-60% and frames are awesome but after minute or two going up again, this game is that bad optimized?

If gpu is less than 95% it means you are bound by cpu, ram or ssd. Increased you image quality or buy a better cpu.

could actually be thermal throttling, I see no mention of temps

modern cpus don't really overheat, they just dial down the clock speed at around 90C.

okey i think it works, i increased to max quality and for now its way better

Try replacing the thermal paste on your heat sink. My gpu was overheating and over utilized and bouncing all around. Changed it out and I haven't had any issues with gpu or cpu. Cpu is usually around 35% and gpu is 50-60% utilization. Ryzen 5 2600 and RX 580. Medium settings as well with a 70 fps cap. Runs smooth as butter.

Hi, there are some who report on POE2 bricking their pc and worst case - damaging components.

It seems to be a bug and not a hardware issue that happens especially during loading screens. if this is happening to you I would probably wait till it has been fixed before playing the game.
